Individuals living with a developmental disability like cerebral palsy, epilepsy, autism or intellectual disabilities, face many challenges in the course of learning, working, and living in the community. The Foundation for Developmental Disabilities, serving the San Diego and Imperial counties, is a resource for those individuals and their families.

New Affordable Housing for Those with Developmental Disabilities Breaks Ground in Otay Mesa

Foundation for Developmental Disabilities (FDD) provides grant to Southern California Housing Collaborative to complete funding package for a twelve-unit affordable housing project for the developmentally disabled. Pacifica at Playa del Sol in Otay Mesa will include 42 affordable apartments for qualifying tenants with 12-units specifically for residents with developmental disabilities.
